The Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada, Inc., Child Care Development Fund, will host Nevada Tribal Child Care Awareness Day, Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Craig Ranch Regional Park in Las Vegas, NV.

This event is free and open to the public.

The event will begin with a fun run/walk at 9:30 a.m., and followed by special performances by Nevada’s tribal youth groups.

There will be food, beverages, and a raffle for event participants.

Information regarding tribal child care in Nevada will be available.

CHILDREN’S BOOK DRIVE For the month of April 2015, ITCN CCDF will be accepting new and gently used children’s books. All donated children’s books will be given back to the tribal communities in the state of Nevada to promote literacy and early learning. You can drop off donated books to the ITCN CCDF Las Vegas office at: 2920 S. Rainbow Blvd. Suite 160, Las Vegas, NV 89146. Drop off bins will also be available the day of the event at Craig Ranch Regional Park.


ITCN CCDF is a tribal child care subsidy program that provides child care assistance to 16 tribal communities throughout the state of Nevada.  Applications for assistance will be available at the event, and are available on-line at  To be eligible to receive assistance, children must be 12 years of age or younger, and of Native American descent.  Parents must be working, going to school, and/or currently involved in work search activities.


ITCN CCDF is seeking event sponsors and donors.  If you would like to sponsor the event, or provide donations of goods or services, please contact Deserea Quintana at:, or Click Here to download sponsorship application.  All funds received will be used to support the direct costs of services, i.e., food, beverages, t-shirts, youth group stipends, promotional items, and other related fees.  Sponsors and donors will receive prime recognition.  Please show your support for the tribal communities throughout the state of Nevada.

A parking pass is required to park the day of the event.  You can download a free parking pass, HERE,  or you can stop by the Las Vegas ITCN CCDF Office to request one.
